Men’s fear of vibrators

Why are so many men afraid of sex toys? And, why are so many women open to including them in their sex lives? Maybe along with that extra X chromosome comes a gene that makes them sexually adventurous, and the exclusion of that gene gives men an innate fear of sex toys.

Okay, so that’s a bit farfetched, but seriously, why do so many women face a struggle when it comes to introducing vibrators, dildos and all the other toys into sex play?

Whatever the reasons are, we’ll probably never figure it out. We can, however, offer the guys some knowledge to allay their fears.

Reasons why men shouldn’t fear vibrators

  • Vibrators Aren’t for Men
Now, that’s a bold untruth. Vibrators come in such a variety of styles that it would be a travesty if someone didn’t make one for men. There are more than penis-shaped vibrators (which, by the way, can be used by men). Cock rings, anal plugs and just about everything is made with a vibrator inside for your pleasure. So, do some investigating before you decide against them.
  • Don’t Vibrators Hurt?
You’re probably thinking this because the only place a vibrator can be used on a man is in the anus, right? Wrong! Vibrators can be used externally on the penis or over the entire body. They stimulate the senses and create rock-hard hard-ons. And if you’re thinking about using them in the anus, it doesn’t have to hurt. Use lots of lubrication and take your time.
  • A Vibrator in My Butt, uh uh . . . That’s Gay!
No, it’s not gay. Being gay is a state of mind. The men that are gay consciously decide that they want to be with other men. No amount of anal prodding will magically turn you into a homosexual. All men have the same parts and stimulation to those parts (the prostate) feels the same in everyone. So, just because something feels good to you and the gay guy up the block, doesn’t mean that you two like all the same things.
  • A Vibrator will Replace me
While a vibrator may allow a woman to experiment with different lengths and girths, it will never be able to cuddle or hold her. A vibrator is just a masturbatory aid. She uses it in place of or with you. Chances are when your girl uses a vibrator it’s not the vibrator that she’s dreaming of, but you!
  • She Won’t be Able to have an Orgasm with me
The truth is, most women don’t get orgasms from penetration alone. It’s a combination of stimulation to the clitoris and penetration that does the job. If you massage her sweet spot while thrusting and moving around inside of her, she’ll get that big O you’ve been waiting for—without the vibrator. The vibrator just gets her there quicker.
  • Penis Size
Get over the size matters thing. While some women may enjoy a huge vibrator, some are just too big. Chances are, if you’ve been with your girl for some time your size is just right for her. Don’t think some gigantic vibrator will come and whisk her away.
Using a vibrator could add that extra spice to the relationship. Your girl will be enthused that you cared enough to consider her sexual wants and these sex toys can even be helpful.

Many women experience their first orgasms while using a vibrator. Once she’s familiar with her body and knows exactly which spots to touch, she can guide you there. Think of it as a hands-on exercise in giving her an orgasm.

Who knows? A vibrator might become your new best friend.
